Bistro and Bar

The menu at lunchtime includes seasonal light meals, perfect for a lunch meeting or a gathering with friends. All our menus have our local Chef’s innovative twist. Some of our favourite dishes are Honey & Lime Charred Salmon, Portland Pottage, or Homemade Wessex Steak Pie.   Also available at lunchtime is our light bites menu, perfect for sharing or a snack with a cappuccino or glass of wine enjoying our wonderful views.

Sunday Lunch is a traditional Chefs Carvery with choice of roasts,  a fish dish and a vegetarian/vegan option.  Served from 12-3pm each week.  Call to book your table.

Dinner can be a casual, stylish affair dining from our bistro menu. A relaxed dining atmosphere compliments the wonderful views.

The Dinner menu dishes include Chefs specialities like Chesil Seafood Platter, Sea bass with vanilla sauce, Lamp rump with berries,  or Lemon & tarragon chicken.

Chef Richard always considers the food miles travelled and prefers to use good locally sourced products for his menu.

Head Chef Richard Hinde creates stylish, contemporary dishes and has been creating delicious food for our diners on Portland for over 12 years.

The bar is open from 10am till close each day and offers a fine selection of wine and spirits. Delicious Chesil, Yachtsman & Jurassic Ale from Dorset Brewing Company is available.   Cocktails and smoothies are also served, along with evening ‘light bights at the Heights’ to compliment your refreshments and so much more to accompany our spectacular view.
