Every wednesday throughout the month join our wildlife guide, Bob Ford, as he takes you on a walk around Portland. Each walk lasts approximately 90 minutes, covers a distance of 1 to 2 miles and sets of at 10:00 AM from the Hotel car park. Visit Bob's Dorset Walks website for a full itinary.
Wildlife Explorer Week - RSPB Radipole Lake and Arne. Keep the kids busy this week and bring them along to Radipole Lake or Arne anytime during half term and let them run wild! Valentines Day at the Heights Hotel (14th)
Love Nature Walk – RSPB Radipole Lake. 10am – 12 noon. This valentines day come out for a guided stroll around the Weymouth reserves. Afterwards, why not cuddle up around a hot chocolate and enjoy the beautiful view from the warmth of the visitor centre. Free binocular hire available. Homes for Wildlife – RSPB Radipole Lake .10 am-2 pm Family event, make your own bird, bat or bug house. Part of National Nestbox Week, why not make your own des res for the wildlife in your garden. There will be plenty of advice and tips on where to put your new house and how to look after it. There is a small charge for the boxes of £4 each.
