Every wednesday throughout the month join our wildlife guide, Bob Ford, as he takes you on a walk around Portland. Each walk lasts approximately 90 minutes, covers a distance of 1 to 2 miles and sets of at 10:00 AM from the Hotel car park. Visit Bob's Dorset Walks website for a full itinary.

Universal Big Gig – Weymouth’s Rowing Regatta – Newtons Cove / Nothe Gardens. Universal Big Gig is welcoming over 30 gigs to their 2 day event. The start line with all the gigs jostling for position is a sight not to be missed. (3rd to 4th)

Weymouth Regatta (Dinghies) – Castle Cove Sailing Club. Your opportunity to sail in Olympic waters with top class racing in a friendly club environment. Shore side social events included with Spirit of the Sea Festival for non sailing family and friends. (3rd to 4th)

D Day Vintage and Classic Vehicle Rally – Starting and finishing from Weymouth Seafront, Jubilee Clock.
Pebbles, Boat and Sea. Explore Chesil Bank, the Fleet and Portland Harbour above and below water at the Chesil Beach Centre and on the glass-bottomed boat. (4th)

Tudor Picnic in Sandsfoot Gardens. Tudor themed fun for all the family in the gardens fit for a King. Step back into the past on the 500th anniversary of the ascension of Henry VIII to the thrown. Enjoy an afternoon of activities and refreshment of the Tudor period. 2 pm to 6 pm.
