The Heights Hotel and Wessex Photographic Wildlife and Optics weekend

The annual Optics & Wildlife event takes place at the Heights Hotel, Isle of Portland, Dorset.

The Portland Bird Observatory If you want to know more about your optical equipment, or purchase new, we have experts on site offering free professional advice and guidance. All the latest models will be available for you to view and try out. Amazing show offers only available this weekend. During the day there will be interesting lectures on the various aspects of optic solutions.

You can test the equipment on the day Information on a forthcoming new attraction for Portland, the Old Engine Shed. Come and find out all about Portland's new interpretation and Field Study Centre.

A local area DVD will be running throughout the weekend, relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or lunch, and learn about Portland and the Jurassic coast.
