Wednesday Walks depart from the hotel weekly, join our local expert Bob Ford and learn more about our unique Island.
Kingbarrow Quarry, Broadcroft Quarries and Tout Quarry all offer a unique combination of heritage, biology, nature and sculpture - all are within walking distance of the Hotel. Portland Bill Lighthouse and Pulpit Rock, are the most photographed landmarks on Portland, the area offers some breathtaking views and is a good sea watching location.
Thomas Hardy country is all around us, enjoy discovering some of the places mentioned in his famous novels.
Over in Weymouth or Brewers Quay harbour area, you can browse around the shops and take a relaxing walk on the beach or deserted promenade!
